SRI GANESHAYA NAMAHA
MY DANCE JOURNEY
evolving alongside my craft
Mat-karma-kṛn mat-paramo mad-bhaktaḥ
'He who does work for me, he who looks upon me as his goal, he returns to me, O Arjuna'
— Srimad Bhagavad Gita
I take dance as an act of worship for the Lord, and in so doing offer my craft entirely to the Divine. It has been a true privilege to perform each piece during my dancing journey as a budding flower at the feet of the Supreme.

Navaratri 2024
Natya Sangam, Sydney
In 2024, I debuted as a soloist at the Sydney Murugan Temple. I was subsequently selected to perform the same piece (Sri Chakra Raja Simhasaneswari) at the 'Natya Sangam' showcase, celebrating the Shivam School of Dance's 15th anniversary alongside fellow upcoming artists.
March 2025
Natyanjali, Tamil Nadu, India
In March 2025, I made my international debut at the Natyanjali Festival in Tamil Nadu, India. My first piece was 'Pushpanjali' at the Thiruthuraipoondi Sri Piravi Marundeeswarar Temple, followed by a performance of 'Natesha Kouthuvam' at the Thiruppalathurai Sri Palaivananathar Temple. This remains a highlight for me in my life.

Navaratri 2025

Amidst a busy schedule of group performances in 2025, I returned as a soloist to the Sydney Murugan Temple. There, I performed 'Chinnachiru Pen Pole,' a piece dedicated to the Divine Mother.
11 October 2025
Varnam, Arangetram, Sydney
My Arangetram marked a spiritual milestone in my journey. In performing the central piece, the Varnam 'Senthil Mevum Deva Deva', I found true fulfillment. Beyond the joy of movement, this piece served as a gateway to my self-realization, transforming me from a student into a devotee of the art.

11 October 2025
Arangetram, Sydney
Beyond the rigor of the Varnam, the repertoire allowed me to explore the depths of Bhakti (devotion). I invoked the blessings of the Goddess of Wisdom in 'Sharada Kautuvam' and presented the cosmic majesty of Lord Shiva in 'Aadum Chidambaramo.' The evening crescendoed with the philosophical verses of 'Njanappana' and the rhythmic joy of the Thillana.
